Each Chemstuk concrete coating has a specific set of performance criteria which must be aware of their properties and understand their behavior.
For instance, some coating is not strong for outdoor while others are. Epoxy is not suitable for outdoor usage. Epoxy has got an aromatic circle and Chlorine which both will degrade in UV exposure.
Chemstuk Epoxit range has got some products which their UV resistance has been improved.
Polyurit, range has unsurpassed UV resistance while they are subject to mechanical and chemical damage.
Chemstuk Epoxit range with all types of epoxy coating such as epoxy floor coating and epoxy anti-corrosion system is much more durable when used internally and less affected by mechanical and chemical damage.
Polyurit range with near zero VOC is suitable for indoor and outdoor application. Indorit Aliphatic Polyurethane with superior shine and gloss can be airless spray applied with careful safety and environment impact.
Aging problem is one of the major issues for polymeric material. in the easier way, especially epoxy and polyurethane lose flexibility and become brittle and lose concrete adhesion properties with age.
All concrete coating will require reapplication after a while, subject coating thickness. Weather moisture exposure and characteristics as a general rule. All Chemstuk concrete coating such as epoxy floor coating (solvent-free and waterbase) or polyurethane membrane must penetrate into the concrete surface to guarantee both short and long term adhesion.
